In this training, you’ll learn the basics of how to set up and use a heavy duty sewing machine, such as a Singer 4423 or Bernette b33. We’ll cover how the machine works, how to thread the machine and bobbin, different kinds of stiches. and how to troubleshoot common issues No prior experience necessary.
If you already have significant experience with sewing machines, you can stop by the Makerspace Shop any time during open hours and we can start you on a self-guided training. We will set you up on a machine, check your skill level, and give you information about using sewing machines in our space.
