I have a radio show on WRBB called Two Boys. The show itself is good and all, but we’ve built a culture around mythicizing each episode as some huge, cultural event on our instagram account. For this semester’s comeback, I decided to take advantage of EXPmakerspace’s tools and to make fake merch for my friends, envisioning a ridiculous photoshoot as if we were models for some 2011 fashion magazine. I made a dozen or so designs that parodied different brands and artists, working the title “Two Boys” into each. Then, I vinyl cut the designs and heat pressed them onto various blank, spare shirts that I had laying around. The results were fantastic.
