SLA Printing I

This training will walk you through the basics of how to set up a standard stereolithogrpahy apparatus (SLA) print when given a .STL file (a common file type for 3D objects). This will cover different print settings on PreForm software, basic printer anatomy and troubleshooting, and best practices for printing. This training will also cover how to post process the print, which includes washing the print in solvent and then baking it in a specialized oven. No experience is necessary, and you’ll leave with the credentials needed to operate our Formlabs printers independently. Students are encouraged to bring their own .STL files to our training!
