Our two plastic forming machines are a PVC bender and an acrylic bender. The PVC bender is meant for bending PVC pipes up to 4” in diameter, and the acrylic bender is meant for bending flat sheets of acrylic. Both utilize heat to bend plastic. In person training is NOT mandatory to use the plastic former (please refer to our user guide and get checked off by an Explorer). Students who would like hands on practice are welcome to take this brief training.
