World Pinhole Day Workshop: From Laser-Cut Camera to Darkroom Print (Part 2)

April 08, 2026

3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

AAC 142

This workshop introduces participants to pinhole photography through a hands-on process that bridges digital fabrication and analog darkroom practices. Timed for April to honor World Pinhole Day (April 27), the workshop invites participants to slow down and engage directly with light, time, and material processes by fabricating simple pinhole cameras with the laser cutter and producing photographic prints in the darkroom.

This is a two-part workshop. In session 1, Wednesday April 1st, meet in AAC 175 from 3-5 pm to laser cut your camera. In session 2, on Wednesday April 8th, meet in AAC 142 from 3-5 PM to use your camera and develop your image. This workshop grants dark room and laser cutting credentials. Please sign up for both sessions.
