Do you already know how to use tools, but you haven’t gone through our training to receive credentials? Show us what you’ve got and come get checked off! You can sign up for this checkoff if you know one or all of the tools (or any number in between) listed below. Make sure that you attend our orientation before the challenge, if you haven’t already!
These checkoffs will be one-on-one with a staff member, and will happen at some point during the time that you sign up for. Plan to arrive about 5 minutes early and plan to stay an extra 5 minutes just in case.
This checkoff is for the following tools:
– Laser Cutter
The Makerspace at EXP uses laser cutters from Universal Laser Systems (ULS).
Note: At this time we are only offering check-off credentials to patrons with prior experience on ULS laser cutters specifically. If you have prior experience with laser cutters from another manufacturer, you can sign up for one of our regular trainings which will orient you to our specific machines!
