Welding is the art of melting metal together with electricity, usually to create 3D structures out of box tube or sheet metal. MIG welding, a type of welding that is slightly easier to learn, is ‘Metal Inert Gas’ welding and most commonly used for mild steel or aluminum. TIG welding, which is a little more complex to learn, is ‘Tungston Inert Gas’ welding, and is used for all sorts of metals.
