After moving into her sublet for the summer, Madison realized that the space was much smaller than she had anticipated. She came up with the idea of making some bed risers to allow for the storage of her things under her bed, and she was able to utilize the Ultimaker 3D printers to do so. She did the DIY training to get certified to enter the space on her own.
Madison used her prior knowledge of the Onshape software to 3D model the risers, then imported this file into the Ultimaker software. During this process, she learned what the different settings meant, such as infill which would determine how strong her print would be (needs to be strong to hold a bed!). She successfully printed her project, and is looking forward to 3D printing more things in the future!
