The Digital Print Shop in the Print Media Studios is for creative projects and student engagement. We are an educational studio and require all patrons to be trained on any equipment they use in order to print their own projects. Printing is available during our open studio hours, unless other arrangements are made in advance. Our current hours are posted online and in the shop.
Departments / Campus Organizations / Programs
For digital printing on the large format printers, each member of a department, organization or program is granted 10 free A-frame poster sized prints (24 x 36 or equivalent) per semester. For 11-20 prints during a semester we request that you purchase a roll of paper for the makerspace. Please contact us should you desire to print more than 20 prints of this size during a single semester.
To arrange purchasing a roll of paper, please reach out to Briar Gies. Please contact our staff and arrange for consultations on projects and payments in advance.
When printing for your department or program, please sign in and out on the studio iPad: this is where you will track your material use. This policy applies to all staff printing for their office, administrative or event needs.
